Privacy Policy

Proxmox Offsite Backup is a private, single-user utility. It does not operate a public service, maintain user accounts, use analytics, display advertising, or sell personal information.
Google user data
The utility uses Google Drive's drive.file permission solely to create, list, read, verify, update, and delete the encrypted backup files and folders that it creates. It cannot access other files already present in the Google Drive account.
Storage and encryption
Backup contents and filenames are encrypted on the owner's server before upload. Google Drive receives encrypted objects. OAuth credentials and the rclone crypt recovery keys remain under the owner's control and are not stored in this website.
Sharing and secondary use
Google user data is not shared with third parties, sold, used for advertising, or used to develop or train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide and maintain the owner's encrypted offsite backups.
Retention and deletion
The utility retains up to three completed weekly backup generations. Older generations are moved to Google Drive trash. The owner may revoke the app's access through Google Account security settings and may delete the app-created backup files through Google Drive at any time.

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
